Job Title: Cook

Division/Department: Kitchen
Reports to: Executive Chef & Sous Chef
Location: The Pacific Club


Perform food preparation tasks on a timely basis under the supervision of the Sous Chef.

Essential Functions

  • Perform routine tasks for Cook/Pantry personnel, short of working a station
  • Serve food items on the buffet line
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down the buffet line Keep the kitchen clean and in order
  • Ensure quality and consistency in food preparation and presentation
  • Maintain the timing of orders· Assist Cook I, II and Sous Chef in other duties as assigned
  • Adhere to all Pacific Club standards and policies to achieve service excellence
  • Expedite orders in a timely manner
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area
  • Ensure daily inspection of food preparation in walk-in refrigerator to ensure proper rotation of food items

Education and Experience

Job Title: Dishwasher

Utility Staff (Restaurant)

Job Title: Utilities Staff - Restaurant

Department: Food & Beverage

Position Description Summary

Ensures that all Pacific Club members and guests receive proper, attentive, courteous, and professional service at the Club to include greeting tables with water and bread, refilling beverages, clearing and resetting tables, and communicating pertinent information to the kitchen. Must follow all club safety and sanitation guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities


  • Prepare all water glasses, carafes
  • Prepare bread service for the night
  • Restock wait station with all necessary supplies from the storage room
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and service areas
  • Set up the floor once all pre-shift duties are completed

During shift:

  • Pour water and bring bread to tables as guests arrive
  • Assist wait staff by servicing food to members/guests as needed; food should not be left on the tray stand unattended. (Make sure there is communication with wait staff)
  • Clear plates after each course, refill water
  • Restock bus station as needed
  • Assist in cleaning banquet rooms as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by the Dining Room Manager or Captain

Closing duties:

  • Clean service stations
  • Clean and restock trays
  • Assist in the resetting of tables
  • Adherence to scheduled shifts and attendance at all service staff meetings.
  • Work well as a team member with the entire club staff.
  • Operate under all guidelines, policies, standards, and constraints as set forth by The Pacific Club.
  • Other duties as required.

Athletics Kiosk Attendant

Job Title: Athletics Kiosk Attendant

Department: Athletics Department
Reports To: Athletics Supervisor

Main Purpose of Job

To provide excellent customer service to all members and guests using the athletics facility.

Job Duties

  • Greets all guests and members and upkeeps the sign-in sheet
  • Maintains a safe and clean environment throughout all athletic areas.
  • Communicates respectfully and clearly with management, staff, members, and guests
  • Input changes to point of sale system
  • Provides drink and snack service for the members
  • Answers the phone
  • Enforces all club policies and rules
  • Stays informed about current fitness classes and programs being offered to help promote member participation and answer members’ questions
  • Stocks locker room amenities and towels daily
  • Washes towels and members’ workout clothes

Job Requirements

Athletic Administrator Assistant/Kiosk Attendant

Job Title: Athletic Administrator Assistant/Kiosk Attendant

Department: Athletics Department

Position Description Summary

  • Part-time administration work in additional to kiosk attend hours. Approx. 40 hours a week.
  • Report to and assist Fitness Director
  • Complete special projects, and weekly assignments pertaining to Athletics.
  • Communicates respectfully and clearly with management, staff, members and guests

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Attend scheduled meetings with Fitness Director and or Lead Athletic Attendant/Supervisor.

  • Assist Fitness Director with admin and special projects.
  • Post Athletic Kiosk Schedule online and provide a physical copy to the kiosk. E-mail schedule copy to Fitness Director. Following the scheduling guidelines pertaining to kiosk shift requests. Vacation requests and any other time off will be submitted to and approved by Fitness Director.
  • Place online orders for kiosk and locker room amenities. Contact vendors. Order gym cleaning supplies.
  • Research supplies and vendors to insure we are purchasing quality products at the best rate.
  • Review, revise and maintain training information for Athletic Attendants both current and new.
  • Assist Athletic Lead Attendant/Supervisor with the training of Athletic Attendants.
  • Maintain and update Kiosk binders including, communication binder, locker binder, and additional information binders.
  • Work with Fitness Director to improve, update and implement efficient systems at the Kiosk.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and clutter free work environment.
  • Thoroughly understand the POS system and procedures to assist with training staff.
  • Maintain and update kiosk staff binders with current information pertaining to Athletic Procedures.
  • Assist with updating information boards, keep retail displays organized and clutter free
  • Reports to Fitness Director regarding any Athletic areas of concern, members, staff, procedures and facility or equipment needs.

Position Description Summary

  • Reports to Facilities Director
  • Provides excellent customer service to all members and guests while maintaining a safe and clean environment
  • Communicates respectfully and clearly with management, staff, members and guests
  • Maintains Club landscaping including parking lots
  • Maintains clubhouse facility and equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist Facilities Director in implementing club policies, goals, operating procedures and standards
  • Plants and maintains ornamental shrubs and trees.
  • Trims and feeds shrubs and trees; removes cuttings.
  • Maintains landscape beds around clubhouse and club grounds.
  • Rakes and blows leaves.
  • Prepares and lays sod.
  • Prepares soil plant beds, and establishes plantings by seed or transplants.
  • Loads and unloads materials.
  • Maintains equipment
  • Empty garbage cans.
  • Attends staff meetings.
  • Maintains a high level of personal service extended to members and guests
  • Uses proper etiquette when greeting members, guests and employees in person
  • Reports immediately to Facility Director any hazardous situation, maintenance issue, injuries and illnesses or other areas of concern
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including but not limited to assisting other areas in the facilities department when positions are vacant or personnel are on vacation

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Ability to lift up to 25-50 pounds and perform strenuous work lifting, pushing pulling, bending, stooping and climbing.
  • Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
