Job Title: Utilities Staff - Restaurant

Department: Food & Beverage
 

Position Description Summary

Ensures that all Pacific Club members and guests receive proper, attentive, courteous, and professional service at the Club to include greeting tables with water and bread, refilling beverages, clearing and resetting tables, and communicating pertinent information to the kitchen. Must follow all club safety and sanitation guidelines.
 

Duties and Responsibilities

Pre-shift:

  • Prepare all water glasses, carafes
  • Prepare bread service for the night
  • Restock wait station with all necessary supplies from the storage room
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and service areas
  • Set up the floor once all pre-shift duties are completed

During shift:

  • Pour water and bring bread to tables as guests arrive
  • Assist wait staff by servicing food to members/guests as needed; food should not be left on the tray stand unattended. (Make sure there is communication with wait staff)
  • Clear plates after each course, refill water
  • Restock bus station as needed
  • Assist in cleaning banquet rooms as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by the Dining Room Manager or Captain

Closing duties:

  • Clean service stations
  • Clean and restock trays
  • Assist in the resetting of tables
  • Adherence to scheduled shifts and attendance at all service staff meetings.
  • Work well as a team member with the entire club staff.
  • Operate under all guidelines, policies, standards, and constraints as set forth by The Pacific Club.
  • Other duties as required.
     

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Ability to carry trays of food
  • Standing on feet for up to 8 hours

Athletics Kiosk Attendant

Job Title: Athletics Kiosk Attendant

Department: Athletics Department

Main Purpose of Job

To provide excellent customer service to all members and guests using the athletics facility.
 

Job Duties

  • Greets all guests and members and upkeeps the sign-in sheet
  • Maintains a safe and clean environment throughout all athletic areas.
  • Communicates respectfully and clearly with management, staff, members, and guests
  • Input changes to point of sale system
  • Provides drink and snack service for the members
  • Answers the phone
  • Enforces all club policies and rules
  • Stays informed about current fitness classes and programs being offered to help promote member participation and answer members’ questions
  • Stocks locker room amenities and towels daily
  • Washes towels and members’ workout clothes
 

Job Requirements

Cook

Job Title: Cook

Department: Athletics Department
Reports To: Executive Chef & Sous Chef

Responsibilities: Perform food preparation tasks on a timely basis under the supervision of the Sous Chef.

Essential Functions: Perform routine tasks for Cook/Pantry personnel, short of working a station.
• Serve food items on the buffet line.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down the buffet line Keep the kitchen clean and in order.
• Ensure quality and consistency in food preparation and presentation.
• Maintain the timing of orders.
• Assist Cook I, II, and Sous Chef in other duties as assigned.
• Adhere to all Pacific Club standards and policies to achieve service excellence.
• Expedite orders promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area.
• Ensure daily inspection of food preparation in the walk-in refrigerator to ensure proper rotation of food items.

Education and Experience: Culinary school training.
• At least four or two (2) years of cooking experience.
• Knowledge of kitchen terminology is required.
