Available Positions:

  • Banquet Server
    • Banquet Server Responsibilities
      • Run food from the kitchen to the banquet venues
      • Assist with food and table prep before the event begins
      • Set up buffets with food presentation standards and practices in mind, ensuring safe food handling performance
      • Serve plated dinners to guests and respond to requests for beverages, appetizers and other needs
      • Communicate with banquet captains as well as other servers and event organizers
      • Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
      • Open wine and take drink orders
      • Clean up venue after event ends and assist with inventory, food storage and other closeout tasks
      • Holiday, night and weekend shifts required

      Banquet Server Qualifications
      • High school diploma/GED preferred
      • Minimum 18 years of age
      • Previous waitstaff experience a plus
      • Knowledge of catering practices preferred
      • Ability to work quickly and as a team in a fast-paced environment
      • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
      • Serving or hospitality experience preferred

  • Kiosk Attendant
    • Kiosk Attendant Duties and Responsibilities
      • Provides excellent customer service to all members and guests using the athletics facility
      • Greets all guests and members and upkeeps the sign-in sheet
      • Maintains a safe and clean environment throughout all athletic areas
      • Communicates respectfully and clearly with management, staff, members and guests
      • Input charges to point of sale system
      • Provides drink and snack service for the members
      • Answers the phone
      • Enforces all club policies and rules
      • Stays informed about current fitness classes and programs being offered to help promote member participation and answer members’ questions.
      • Stocks locker room amenities and towels daily
      • Washes towels and members’ workout clothes

      Kiosk Attendant Requirements
      • High School Diploma or GED
      • Able to lift up to 45lbs
      • Team player
      • Positive attitude
      • Must be a good communicator and able to work independently
      • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and be able to work in a kiosk that is open air
      • Must be able to take and pass a food handlers test to serve beer and wine
      • CPR and First Aid certified or will need to take a CPR and First Aid certification course

      Part Time Hours Available 
  • Maintenance Mechanic
    • The Pacific Club is seeking a skilled mechanic to join our maintenance team. Performs various repair and maintenance duties on facilities and equipment including, but not limited to plumbing, carpentry and electrical work. Also performs testing and maintenance of the swimming pool in compliance with local Health Department regulations. Maintains a high level of personal service to members, guests and employees.

      Physical Requirements:
      • Ability to lift more than 50lbs pounds and perform strenuous work lifting, pushing pulling, bending, stooping and climbing.
      • Use ladders when required.
      • Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
      • Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
      • Frequent repetitive motions.
      • Continuous standing and walking. Education and Training, Qualifications and Other Requirements
      • High School diploma or GED equivalent required
      • Post-secondary vocational/ technical training
      • One year maintenance experience in an institutional or business setting.
      • Basic knowledge of trades to understand repair problems and make minor repairs on outlets, lamps and plumbing fixtures.
      • General knowledge of power tools.
  • Catering Administrative Assistant
    • Catering Admin Assistant (Downtown)

      City Club seeking a Catering Admin Assistant. Primary recipient of inbound catering calls. Answers email, telephone and interoffice messages for the department while assisting in promoting the club's dining facilities for private banquets and social meetings or other member related activities. Responsible for catering office administrative duties.

      • Directly reports to Director of Catering
      • Assists Catering Coordinator with maintaining reservations
      • Enters menus and events in Club Connect as needed for monthly distribution
      • Maintains monthly banquet event listing, daily change order and weekly clipboards
      • Assist with weekly distribution, confirmation of menus and timely printing/distributing
      • Prepares signage, and special menus as needed.
      • Follow-up calls five days out to confirm reservations/signed documents
      • Stocks banquet menu packages
      • Assist Captain with printing buffet labels for events, filing, data entry and other administrative  duties as needed.
      • Maintains past and potential reoccurring group files
      • Helps member clients arrange banquets, obtain pertinent information and forms needed for   guest planning
      • Confirms room reservations, guest counts, event details, and asks for deposits when   applicable
      • Organize filing for monthly BEO's
      • Assists with preparing event bills and invoicing clients
      • Assists with club events and weekend events as needed.
      • Performs special projects or duties as assigned by the Catering Director or Food and   Beverage Director

      Qualifications and Requirements
      •  Strong organizational skills, attention to detail ability to multi-task
      •  Exceptional telephone etiquette and hospitality service
      •  Good writing and verbal skills
      •  Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
      •  Food and beverage knowledge (preferred)
      •  Requires problem solving and judgment, alertness and strong attention to details Highly organized, able to multi-task, and prioritize in order to meet deadlines and requests
      •  Able to learn Club Connect Catering System software to log in events, input menus, Sundries and comments.
