Available Positions:

  • Banquet Server
    • Banquet Server Responsibilities
      • Run food from the kitchen to the banquet venues
      • Assist with food and table prep before the event begins
      • Set up buffets with food presentation standards and practices in mind, ensuring safe food handling performance
      • Serve plated dinners to guests and respond to requests for beverages, appetizers and other needs
      • Communicate with banquet captains as well as other servers and event organizers
      • Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
      • Open wine and take drink orders
      • Clean up venue after event ends and assist with inventory, food storage and other closeout tasks
      • Holiday, night and weekend shifts required

      Banquet Server Qualifications
      • High school diploma/GED preferred
      • Minimum 18 years of age
      • Previous waitstaff experience a plus
      • Knowledge of catering practices preferred
      • Ability to work quickly and as a team in a fast-paced environment
      • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
      • Serving or hospitality experience preferred

  • Kiosk Attendant
    • Kiosk Attendant Duties and Responsibilities
      • Provides excellent customer service to all members and guests using the athletics facility
      • Greets all guests and members and upkeeps the sign-in sheet
      • Maintains a safe and clean environment throughout all athletic areas
      • Communicates respectfully and clearly with management, staff, members and guests
      • Input charges to point of sale system
      • Provides drink and snack service for the members
      • Answers the phone
      • Enforces all club policies and rules
      • Stays informed about current fitness classes and programs being offered to help promote member participation and answer members’ questions.
      • Stocks locker room amenities and towels daily
      • Washes towels and members’ workout clothes

      Kiosk Attendant Requirements
      • High School Diploma or GED
      • Able to lift up to 45lbs
      • Team player
      • Positive attitude
      • Must be a good communicator and able to work independently
      • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and be able to work in a kiosk that is open air
      • Must be able to take and pass a food handlers test to serve beer and wine
      • CPR and First Aid certified or will need to take a CPR and First Aid certification course

      Part Time Hours Available 
  • Maintenance Mechanic
    • The Pacific Club is seeking a skilled mechanic to join our maintenance team. Performs various repair and maintenance duties on facilities and equipment including, but not limited to plumbing, carpentry and electrical work. Also performs testing and maintenance of the swimming pool in compliance with local Health Department regulations. Maintains a high level of personal service to members, guests and employees.

      Physical Requirements:
      • Ability to lift more than 50lbs pounds and perform strenuous work lifting, pushing pulling, bending, stooping and climbing.
      • Use ladders when required.
      • Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
      • Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
      • Frequent repetitive motions.
      • Continuous standing and walking. Education and Training, Qualifications and Other Requirements
      • High School diploma or GED equivalent required
      • Post-secondary vocational/ technical training
      • One year maintenance experience in an institutional or business setting.
      • Basic knowledge of trades to understand repair problems and make minor repairs on outlets, lamps and plumbing fixtures.

  • Laundry Attendant
    • Position Description Summary
      • Reports to Housekeeping Lead and Facilities Director
      • Responsible for helping with the upkeep and organization of Laundry and Linen Room. Clean and iron soiled linen used throughout the club and its facilities; Clean laundry room area
      • Communicates respectfully and clearly with management, staff, members and guests

      Duties and Responsibilities
      • Empties linen hampers, receives soiled linen
      • Separates and counts linen
      • Loads and operates washer and dryer
      • Presses linen immediately after drying
      • Folds and stores linen by type
      • Wash and irons cooks uniforms
      • Assures quality cleaning and pressing of linens and club uniforms after drying
      • Cleans laundry room and linen room
      • Takes linen inventory periodically and reports shortage
      • Requisitions laundry supplies
      • Reports immediately to the Facility Director any hazardous situation, maintenance issue, injuries and illnesses or other areas of concern
      • Perform other duties as assigned

      Education and Training, Qualifications and Other Requirements
      • Some High School
      • Minimum of one year of experience in laundry room operation, helpful
      • Ability to communicate effectively and to read and understand instructions

      Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations
      • Works within OSHA requirements and applicable Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs)
      • Safely and correctly operate all laundry equipment

  • Front Desk Assistant – Casual/Floater
    • FRONT DESK ASSISTANT – Permanent Hire - Evenings – (Local resident candidates only)

      Position Summary and Personal Attributes

      A Front Desk Assistant is the first person to greet and assist members or guests of our long standing private club. The ideal candidate is a concierge by nature. He/she possesses a professional appearance and attitude, takes great pride in fulfilling even the smallest of requests, and can multi-task at a busy front-desk without sacrificing hospitality, diplomacy, or grace. This individual is well informed and proactive in dealing with people and at times unusual circumstances. As a focal point of the main clubhouse, the Club's Front Desk Assistant must be a team player who respects others and the rules of the Club. In addition they are motivated to understand role of the Front Desk department in a private club’s operations. Accuracy and attention to detail along with a strong sense of hospitality are required to convey our Club's values and effectively communicate Club information.

      Our Club’s Front Desk Assistant is a willing dispenser of information to inquiring members and guests. They must be comfortable communicating information in a professional manner verbally and in written form. They will be responsible for registering reciprocal guests and member’s guests as well as receiving dining and event reservations. They will also be responsible for opening/closing the Front Desk depending on their shift times.

      Schedule
      - Thursday & Friday (3:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.) Saturday as needed (4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
      - Flexibility to work various hours between 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday – Friday is a triple plus.
