  • Cook
    • Cook Responsibilities
      • Perform routine tasks for Cook/Pantry personnel
      • Serve food items on the buffet line
      • Assist in setting up and breaking down the buffet line
      • Expedite orders in a timely manner
      • Ensure quality and consistency in food preparation and presentation
      • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area
      • Ensure daily inspection of food preparation to ensure proper rotation of food items
      • Measure and assemble ingredients for menu item
      • Assist Cooks and Sous Chef in other duties as assigned
      • Adhere to all Pacific Club standards and policies to achieve service excellence

      Cook Requirements
      • Culinary school training
      • 2+ years’ experience as a Cook
      • Able to read and follow standardized recipes
      • Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures
      • Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere

  • Banquet Captain
    • Position Description Summary
      • Directly reports to the Catering Director.
      • Part Time/ Full Time Status. 20 – 40 hours plus per week to include holidays, weekends and overtime as needed
      • Supervise the banquet functions for the Club when the Banquet Manager is not available or assist the Banquet Manager during the function. Assists management in supervising service personnel to ensure that the member and guest satisfaction and presentation standards are consistently attained.

      Duties and Responsibilities
      • Assist with work schedule for banquet staff; make adjustments daily as business dictates.
      • Ensure that all banquet staff is well-groomed and in proper uniform (including name tag).
      • Hold pre-meal meeting with servers to ensure smooth, efficient service; assign service stations and coordinate the timing of courses.
      • Receive and greet members and guests upon arrival to banquet event(s).
      • Acts as Head Waiter at special, private banquet event(s).
      • Coordinate food service between kitchen and service staff.
      • Inspect and maintain all equipment used in banquets.
      • Resolve member/guest complaints.
      • Assure that all safety, accident and emergency policies and procedures are in place and consistently followed.
      • Help select, train, supervise and evaluate service staff.
      • Inspect banquet rooms to ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness and safety.
      • Assure the readiness of banquet event(s) and that they are set correctly as specified on the Banquet Event Order (BEO).
      • Assist the service staff in delivering the best service possible.
      • Ensure that all appropriate charges are noted correctly to each banquet event and forwarded to the Catering Department for invoicing.
      • Assure that all equipment is clean and put in their proper areas.
      • Assure that all banquet rooms are clean.
      • Check on resets, which can be completed.
      • Enforce established rules, regulations and policies.

  • Banquet Server
    • Banquet Server Responsibilities
      • Run food from the kitchen to the banquet venues
      • Assist with food and table prep before the event begins
      • Set up buffets with food presentation standards and practices in mind, ensuring safe food handling performance
      • Serve plated dinners to guests and respond to requests for beverages, appetizers and other needs
      • Communicate with banquet captains as well as other servers and event organizers
      • Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
      • Open wine and take drink orders
      • Clean up venue after event ends and assist with inventory, food storage and other closeout tasks
      • Holiday, night and weekend shifts required

      Banquet Server Qualifications
      • High school diploma/GED preferred
      • Minimum 18 years of age
      • Previous waitstaff experience a plus
      • Knowledge of catering practices preferred
      • Ability to work quickly and as a team in a fast-paced environment
      • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
      • Serving or hospitality experience preferred

  • Food Runner/Busser
    • Food Runner/Busser Responsibilities:
      • Running/expediting food
      • Keeping the "server prep" area clean and organized
      • Bussing tables
      • Assisting in servicing bartenders stock as needed
      • Servicing Member and guest requests as needed

      Holiday, night and weekend shifts required.

      Food Runner/Busser Qualifications
      • High school diploma/GED preferred
      • Minimum 18 years of age
      • Ability to work quickly and as a team in a fast-paced environment
      • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and be on feet for 4-5 hour shifts
      • Food service or hospitality experience preferred
  • Dishwasher
    • Dishwasher Responsibilities
      • Wash and store dishes, glassware, trays, pots, and utensils
      • Maintains dishwashing area and dishwashing machines in a sanitary manner
      • Maintain adequate supply of clean tableware and kitchenware
      • Deliver and set up employee meal stations
      • Understand and follow chemical handling and safety procedures
      • Understand and follow Health Department hygiene and sanitation requirements
      • General cleaning duties
      • Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor

      Job Requirements
      • No previous restaurant experience required
      • Must be able to work a flexible work
      • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and multi-task
      • Requires the ability to sit, stand, bend, pull, and lift up to 75 lbs.
      • Must be able to stand and work during the entire work shift (at least for 7 hours)
